24 HOUR EMERGENCY NUMBER:
(Out of hours you will automatically be put through to Vets Now in Langstone)
Andrea is our clinical director and is an extremely experienced surgeon. After graduating from Edinburgh in 1996, her early career saw her thrown in the deep end as a mixed vet in the Scottish badlands, meaning that she is prepared for anything life throws at her now. Andrea is very “outdoorsy,” enjoying dog walks, climbing and horse-riding, providing there’s a builders tea at the end of the trail.
“El” is one of our Assistant Veterinary Surgeons who joined the practice in July 2019. Since graduating, she has developed an interest in Diagnostic Imaging and has started to work towards a postgraduate certificate to become an Advanced Veterinary Practitioner. In her spare time, she practises yoga and plays a sport called “Canoe Polo.” She is good at neither.
Jodi is our Head Nurse and resident “mother hen.” Jodi has seen it all and done it all in her 13 years at the practice, making her an extremely experienced and invaluable member of the team. Jodi’s special skills including surgical nursing and calming fractious cats.
Becky joined us in November 2019 as a Receptionist, prior to starting a Veterinary Nursing course, and she cannot wait to get started at the ‘clinical end’! In her spare time, she practices yoga and crochet and is a loving parent to Mango, the cat, and Florence, the Shar Pei.
A self-described “weird rabbit lady,” Lissy is a client-turned-student nurse who joined us in January 2021. Lissy spends her free time nurturing her ever-expanding bunny conglomerate and hacking “Euro” the ex-racehorse. When she isn’t fixing up animals, Lissy can be found fixing up cars instead. She really can do it all!
Tracey has worked at the practice for 15 years. She began on reception, but is now behind the scenes, doing the administration that makes everything run smoothly. Tracey has an extensive menagerie of horses, dogs and cats- many of whom were acquired ‘second-hand’ from work!
Natalie joined the practice in 2019 to assist with administration and accounts. When she is not buried in paperwork, she looks after a small herd of children and pets in the countryside.
Katrina has been with the practice since 2002, cleaning and clearing up after everybody with tireless loyalty and a wicked sense of humour. In her spare time Katrina loves lego, jigsaws and reading.
